As a Transportation Associate Planner, Ozzy Arce realizes forward-thinking approaches to keep the City of Walnut moving and its environment protected. His work as Project Manager for the City’s five-year transportation and parking demand management plan called Rethinking Mobility showed a mid-size City can adopt the visionary approaches of larger urban areas.
The Rethinking Mobility Transportation Strategic was adopted by the Walnut Creek City Council. The plan provides implementation strategies to reduce automobile trips, manage parking demand, and enhance access for those walking, biking, and using public transit.
