Tips for a Successful LinkedIn Profile

LinkedIn profiles with pictures attract 50-70 percent more inquiries than profiles without pictures! A professional photo is preferable!
Choose your LinkedIn profile photo carefully. Ask people which one makes you seem most approachable, or use an app like www.photofeeler.com.
Your LinkedIn profile should complement your resume, but shouldn’t duplicate it directly. It can also be more comprehensive than a resume.
A LinkedIn profile gives prospective employers a snapshot of who you are and how you can successfully contribute to their organization.
Your LinkedIn profile is a marketing piece, not a biography or an obituary. It doesn’t need to outline your entire professional history.
