One of the ongoing concerns about research in public budgeting and finance, and public administration in general, is that the research conducted by academics does not meet the needs of practitioners.
A research team led out of NC State University is working to establish a research agenda for the field of public budgeting and finance that incorporates the perspective of all those involved in public budgeting and finance, both academic and practitioner. The team is requesting ELGL member participation in the process by asking about your top research needs.
As a community-oriented project, those who respond to the project to also be included as a co-author on the paper.
