So far, what’s your proudest accomplishment in 2019?

Working with a community advisory board to develop a long term plan for our historic boxing facility with the Parks & Recreation department.

Valentines Day is in February. What do you “love” about your job?

I love the opportunities that my role has to impact the community in a positive way through one of the things many of us can all connect with…. FUN and recreation!

10 Year Challenge! What were you doing in 2009? How did it help you reach your current position?

In 2009 I was my junior year in High School in Clinton County Indiana. I was working at a radio station and helping with severe weather storm coverage, being in a unique role alerting the community about impending severe storms I became known as the weather guy on the radio that covered 18 counties and 2 states. I quickly learned the importance of building community trust, and crisis management.
