I was a farmhand.

Texas Tech University Graduate institution with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a major in Recreation and minor in Parks Administration.

“On My Honor, I Will” by Randy Pennington and Marc Brockman, The Bible.
What’s the best networking advice for job seekers you’ve heard or shared?
Don’t be timid. Let people know you are interested in talking to them about a career in local government.
What’s the fastest way to NOT get a job or internship with you? (e.g. what should potential applicants avoid doing if they were to ever interview with you for a position).
Show up late for interview, dress casual for interview.
Why should an undergraduate student consider a career working in local government?
A career in local government is rewarding, and as with any career there will be trying times, however, the results of your work benefit so many people.

Be someone others can count on.
