Attention Southeast ELGL members! The University of North Carolina is hosting a great event this summer about women and public service. Featuring sessions on work-life balance, communications, and creativity. The keynote speaker is the North Carolina state treasurer, Janet Cowell. Read on to learn more about this opportunity.

Engaging Women in Public Service: Taking Your Place and Paying it Forward

This one-day event is designed for women interested in advancing to leadership positions in public or nonprofit organizations or those who wish to enhance their current leadership skills. Interactive workshop sessions will explore participants’ personal capacity for public leadership, focusing on communication and networking, work-life integration, and creative problem-solving. The keynote speaker will be North Carolina State Treasurer Janet Cowell.
