It’s the end of an exciting week where we saw more people engage with ELGL than ever before. The #ELGLCityHall competition ended with Peoria, IL’s victory in the city hall bracket competition. Along the way, we all got a master class from Peoria, Vancouver, and the rest of the field’s social media managers, who demonstrated how social media can mobilize a community and quickly share information. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for a GovLove episode and some recap posts on what we can all learn from the #ELGLCityHall challenge.

This past week, students from North Carolina presented their data collection tool to the teams in Oregon, California, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio that will also soon begin collecting data.
