AAEAAQAAAAAAAANIAAAAJGUyOTFiNDExLWJkNDUtNGNlOS04MzdkLTNiY2NlMGRlYjMwZADan Bourdeau (LinkedIn, Twitter, and World Wide Web) has, since 2009, been the Chief Information Officer of the City of Westland, the 10th largest City in the State of Michigan with just over 84,000 highly diverse residents. Under Daniel’s leadership, the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) has worked tirelessly to deploy solutions that are both nimble and provide uniform access outside of the traditional confines of the municipal offices.  This methodology has allowed the City’s employees to work aggressively in the field with a full complement of technology to provide immediate service, educate the public, document work, and remediate matters to ensure the highest level of safety and quality of life are maintained in the City.
What I Am Doing This Summer:  Enjoying my family before the hectic school season starts anew.

What I Consider As My Career Accomplishments: Designing our new city hall’s technology from scratch, seamlessly relocating the entire operation, and seeing the building work as designed.
