Welcome to our new member feature. We’ve all heard the excuse “I’m too busy” too many times so we’ve simplified our new member feature to illicit short, meaningful responses.
We also tackle tough issues such as why the Apple Watch is necessary. As a side note, ELGL is adamantly opposed to the excuse, “I’m too busy.”
Jason Jones (LinkedIn and Twitter) is a Human Resources Analyst for the City of Salisbury, NC. He is responsible for benefits administration, wellness program, and HRIS development and training. Jason has an undergraduate degree and MPA from North Carolina State University.

What I Consider As My Career Accomplishments:
Graduated with my B.A. in Political Science and my MPA from N.C. State University. I was also a 4 year varsity letter winner on the track team there. Completed the Management Training Program with Norfolk Southern Railroad before transitioning to public service. I have been with The City of Salisbury (NC) for just over 2 years now learning everything I possibly can about local government administration.
