Your ELGL Membership Options During COVID-19

extension to membership

Last week, the ELGL Board of Directors discussed the best ways we can support our members during the continued impacts on local governments and their partners around the world during COVID-19.

We understand that for many of you, renewals of both individual and agency memberships may be delayed or on a low priority list while you are addressing more urgent needs in your communities.

And, while we keep our membership costs extremely low to prevent any barriers to access, we know that even these rates may be difficult for some to meet during this time.

We want to support you during this time with our content and resources without any added stress from renewal costs.

From March 10 to June 1, anyone (anyone!) who needs or would like an extension to their membership at no cost can fill out this three-question form to let us know.

We’ll take care of extending your membership at no cost to you through June 1.

For those of you who are able to continue making renewals, please know that your dues are essential for us to respond to our members’ needs and sustain the ELGL organization.

Your membership payments help us stay flexible and relevant with what you need – especially during this time of providing COVID-19 related information, content, and connection opportunities.

We are grateful for your support year-round, but never more so than now, when all of us are pulling together to do the best we can in these trying times. If you are able to renew your March, April, or May membership on time, we so appreciate your willingness to continue to support ELGL’s work.

If you have any questions about the renewal policy or need further information, please contact Emily Edmonds, our Membership & Programs Director.

Take good care,

Your ELGL Board of Directors:
