How does your local government handle website content duties?
Specifically, my city is redoing its website. I’m wondering who has the duties of posting content to the homepage, department pages, and calendars. Is it the communications department, IT, another department? Or, does IT or the company that manages the site have a role in posting the info?
Website Metrics: What metrics does your organization use to measure web traffic?
My city has revamped its website and we’re interested in actually analyzing our web stats. What should we be looking at? Example of metrics that are used by others? Who manages your data analysis for web metrics.
