Organized by ELGL, City Hall Selfie Day is a celebration of public service showcasing pride in local government institutions.
ELGL is excited to celebrate the 10th annual City Hall Selfie Day in 2025! Every year since 2016, government employees, elected officials, members of the media, and community members participate in the event across the United States and around the world.
City Hall Selfie Day is all about local government pride.
It doesn't matter if you work for a town, city, county, library, special district — or if you work remotely or from home. City Hall Selfie Day is for everyone!
Recognition
Together, we reached more than 6 million people during the most recent City Hall Selfie Day in August 2024. We saw so much community pride on display in small towns, big cities, and everywhere in between.
