Before you leave for #ELGL17, what’s the biggest project facing you at work?
Serving as a celebrity judge for the Woofstock Doxie Derby, a fundraiser for the Friends of the Animal Shelter where dachshunds and other small dogs race and compete for “Best Kisser.” Also, the FY18 budget.
Window, middle, or aisle – which is your preferred seat on an airplane?
Short flight, aisle. Long flight, window. I never choose the middle, but sometimes the middle chooses me.
When I think of Detroit, I think about…

What’s the best article or book that you’ve read about Detroit?
Rather than an article or book, I saw a fascinating, award winning documentary about a year in the life of the Detroit Fire Department called “BURN.”
