Before you leave for #ELGL17, what’s the biggest project facing you at work?
We’re working on a placemaking project on 9 mile, so I’ll be doing a lot of resource gathering for it and communication with our volunteers in the upcoming months.
Window, middle, or aisle – which is your preferred seat on an airplane?
Window. You can’t go wrong with a view or an extra place to rest your head.
When I think of Detroit, I think about…
How much the City has to offer. Detroit, and the surrounding metro region, has the best dining, music, art, and industry in the state (Sorry Grand Rapids metro).
What’s the best article or book that you’ve read about Detroit?
East Jefferson Avenue To Go From 9 Down To 5 Car Lanes, Get New Bike Lanes
I am very excited for the implementation of this project. I live off Jefferson, near the riverfront, and can’t wait to be more connected to the other side of Jefferson. Plus I won’t have to worry as much about my SO getting hit by a car on his bike ride to work. This project has been needed for a long time and I think it will bring significant improvements to the neighborhood.
Detroit is the home of ‘Motown’. If you started a Motown group, what would you name it?
