The first ELGL “Social Media Superstar” award goes to the Ferguson Municipal Public Library. Carrie Ann Taylor collects some of Ferguson Library’s best social media posts in the below Storify, and she writes:

“Ferguson Library was literally the heart and soul of the city. They not only offered books and resources to readers, but activities & inspiration as a safe haven from the chaos that was occurring in their community. When schools were closed, the library used social media to circulate details letting the city know that they would remain open, and teachers would be on hand for students.”

Congrats, Ferguson Library! You’re our first SUPERSTAR!
