Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Master of Public Administration

All of my finance classes in undergrad and grad school, especially revenue theory

Never assume malice when incompetence will suffice.

What book are you currently reading? Would you recommend it?

The Right Stuff. I just started it so I will have to withhold judgment until I’ve read further.

When you are networking, think about what you can offer the other person rather than only what they can offer you.

What’s the fastest way to NOT get a job or internship with you? (e.g. what should potential applicants avoid doing if they were to ever interview with you for a position).

Talk about why they are excited to work for [the incorrect employer/organization].

Why should an undergraduate student consider a career working in local government?

There are many different career paths one can explore within a single organization.
