Don’t be afraid to network and meet new people in various industries. You just never know who might connect you to your next job, opportunity, etc.

What’s the fastest way to NOT get a job or internship with you? (e.g. what should potential applicants avoid doing if they were to ever interview with you for a position). 

Being sloppy on the small stuff (details, how you dress, manners, being a person of your word).

Why should an undergraduate student consider a career working in local government?

You have to ability to affect, change, and potentially save lives…lots of them.
