The votes are in and the results have been tabulated: after a week of nominations and voting by our community, ELGL is thrilled to announce the winner of the Knope of the Week! As a reminder, The Knope of the Week honors individuals or groups who have done the most in the past week to advance the mission of ELGL.
Without further ado, the winner of the 26th Knope of the Week goes to the . . . .
Joe Gall, Fairview Sherwood City Manager
Joe has been an ELGL leader since the beginning. Despite having plenty of his plate while being city manager of Fairview and OCCMA board member, Joe has been instrumental in all aspects of ELGL from securing speakers (Heather Gantz and Erik Kvarsten) to recommending one of his many contacts become involved with ELGL. Most importantly, Joe serves as a model for many of us on how to be an effective city manager in today’s changing environment. He is up on the latest in social media (he has a Pinterest account) and develops relationships with professionals on all levels of the public and private sector.
ELGL thanks Joe for his contributions and looks forward to building on them as he moves to Sherwood.
