The votes are in and the results have been tabulated: after a week of nominations and voting by our community, ELGL is thrilled to announce the winner of the Knope of the Week! As a reminder, The Knope of the Week honors individuals or groups who have done the most in the past week to advance the mission of ELGL.
Without further ado, the winner of the 38th Knope of the Week is . . . .
Pat Mobley
ELGL Advisory Board Member and Blog Contributor
Portland State University Faculty Member
Our newest blog contributor, Pat Mobley is the deserving recipient of this week’s award. His column, the Monthly Development provides unique insight on economic development issues and an opportunity for readers to converse with him on the blog and social media outlets. His contribution has proven to be popular with blog readers as its been one of the most clicked on links this week. Pat welcomes your input on his columns (even if you think he smells and needs to write his column in the form of a rap.)
We also recognize Pat for his service on the ELGL advisory board and as an event organizer. Pat is coordinating the upcoming forum with Charlie Hales. Thanks to Pat for adding value to ELGL through his dedication and hard work in promoting the local government profession.
